Adobe Creative Suite Skills workshops feature hands-on instruction in classes of ten students or less. They are designed and taught by students, for students and others who want to broaden their skills in Adobe Creative Suite design software.
This workshop is designed for students with limited knowledge of InDesign who wish to brush up on and refresh their skills. Participants will learn how to effectively set up new documents, import and link graphics, work with text and frames, use multi-column and threaded text boxes and apply type tools.
Instructor: Dave Bubbins
Prerequisites: Some familiarity with InDesign. Working knowledge of Mac OS X is recommended, but not required. For more indepth and comprehensive workshops in InDesign, consider taking the Digital Design Studio Workshops beforehand.
Registration required; $10 for UB students, $20 for UB staff/alumni, $30 for general public. Submit this form with payment to the Academic Resource Center, AC 116.
