a.m. LAW: Collaborative Practice - Less Adversarial, More Effective

November 10, 2009

Time: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Location: School of Law 211

Collaborative practice is the fastest growing dispute resolution process in family and civil practice across the United States and all over the world.  This remarkable growth is driven by the essence of the process: the parties, attorneys and allied professionals agree that they will work together outside the court system to help the parties focus on problem solving to resolve their disputes.  Ali Doyle, J.D. ’02 will share her secrets to a successful collaborative practice.

Now in its 26th year, the a.m. LAW Ginsberg Seminar Series is made possible through a gift from the late Rhona Ginsberg in honor of her father, Hyman Ginsberg, and uncle, Isidore Ginsberg, for their combined 100 years of teaching at the UB School of Law. Each spring and fall, legal experts come to the UB campus to present informative seminars on current issues in the practice of law in Maryland.

All a.m. LAW programs begin at 8 a.m.  We invite you to join us at 7:30 a.m. for a complimentary continental breakfast preceding each program.  For more information about any of our fall 2009 seminars or to RSVP, email lawevents@ubalt.edu.  The most current information about parking at the University of Baltimore is always available at www.ubalt.edu/parking.
