The Division of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Forensic Studies in the Yale Gordon College of Liberal Arts hosts a lecture, free and open to the public, with three high officials in the Ministry of Justice of Thailand.
Vongthep Arthakaivalvatee, Vitaya Suriyawong and Nuntarath Tepdulchai will discuss the criminal justice system and law enforcement in Thailand and corresponding activities with the United Nations. They will also present on ELFI, an enrichment program for female inmates, and the new U.N. Minimum Standards on the Treatment of Female Prisoners.
UB Provost Joe Wood will formally welcome the visitors.
