Career Boot Camp, a one-day opportunity for UB students and alumni to gain the necessary skills to compete in an increasingly competitive job market, will be held on campus on Saturday, Nov. 7 between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the atrium of the William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center (the Merrick School of Business), 11 W. Mt. Royal Ave. This all-in-one training session will focus on résumé writing skills, proficiency in interviewing, and other specific items designed to enhance the job seeker's must-have abilities. A panel of employers will also provide important tips and strategies. The event is sponsored by the UB Career Center.
